Hooked on this Highland Home

It's a Hooked on Houses home tour blog party! So here's my first home tour. I chose a model home built by the builder of my home, Highland Homes. Take a look and tell me what you think.

I love the elevation of this home...the brick/stone combination as well as the cute chimney and arched front door. I would love to line my walk with shrubs just like this home.
Another reason I chose to feature this home is the relaxing study with the warm fireplace (not that we would ever actually use it).
Oh, isn't this kitchen great? I love the hood over the stove and window over the sink. This photo was taken from the spacious breakfast area. The family room is open to the left.
Check out the large shower and long vanity area in the master bath. The master suite and second bed/bath are located downstairs with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a game room and media room upstairs.
I would spend endless hours entertaining on this patio. Lots of room for the kids to play as well!

That patio is stunning. Cute house, lots of "old world" charm in a new construction.

Wow, what a beautiful home...I love how it's new, but looks old, the best of both worlds!

Please come by and see my Open House if you get the chance to, thanks!

Nice to meet you,

What a great home! Almost fairytale/cottagey like, only on a large scale, (and if it had a thatched roof!) I LOVE the landscaping. The patio area is TDF.

Hi, Lezlie, thanks for stopping by my master bedroom tour. I just LOVE this house you've shown. Wow, the outside curb appeal is huge & the inside is wonderful too.

Love it! Can I move in tomorrow?! There are so many features that make this model unique compared to all the others in our area. I love the garage in the back, as well as the outdoor area. And the wood floors in the kitchen are beautiful too. I will have to go walk through the Highland Homes models sometime.

Lezlie, this house is so charming! Doesn't the exterior look like something out of a fairy tale? I love it.

Thanks so much for joining our blog party! -Julia :-)

I found this blog thru Rhoda's(Southern Hospitality), and have so enjoyed the tour! What a surprise to find a HH! I'll be moving in to my very own at the end of the month in Austin. They really do look like fairy tale homes, since most of them are stone. Mine won't have the fancy patio, but once I get busy, it sure will have a lot of flowers, pathways, and walls, just another part to add to my 'dream' home.

Thank you Leslie for the surprise! ;o)
